A national qualification training in the method “Bread as a social event” was carried out in Ulm in the family education centre on 11th November 2019. The trainer Barbara Rüd, certified by the Bread Houses Network in Sofia, took over this task.
Six multipliers from Ulm and the surrounding area of Ulm came to learn and pass on this innovative and activating method.
The participants decided on the topic of “sharing” and were introduced to the method step by step and became active themselves. Also many interesting backgrounds about Nadeshda Grigorova, who had developed this method, were presented.
The participants painted in the flour what came to their minds about sharing, they connected their stories. The attributes of the ingredients flour, salt, sugar, water and yeast were considered in a different social and personal context. The common kneading of the dough, the shaping, baking and tasting were part of the method and were perceived by all present in a new way.
All participants had a lot of fun and want to pass this method on to others. The qualification was a great success.
