  • The baking house in Metzingen-Neuhausen was founded in 1881. In the meantime, it has been renovated of course.
  • It has two wood-fired ovens.
  • The wood-fired ovens are heated up with bundles of brushwood and logs of wood.
  • Ca. 20 – 30 people bake approx. times per month.
  • Baking activities take place in the summer time
  • The big event is the baking house festival organised by the “Hofbühl” musicians. It always takes place on the last Sunday of the summer break.
  • During the baking house festival 2017, around 500 onion tarts and 550 loafs of bread were sold.

  • Das Backhaus in Metzingen-Neuhausen gibt es seit 1881. Zwischenzeitlich wurde es natürlich renoviert.
  • Es hat zwei Holzöfen.
  • Die Holzöfen werden mit Reisigbüschel und Holzscheite beheizt.
  • Es wird etwa 15 mal im Monat gebacken, so 20 – 30 Personen backen.
  • In den Sommerferien finden Backaktionen statt.
  • Das große Ereignis ist der Backhaushock der Hofbühlmusikanten. Er findet immer am letzten Sonntag in den Sommerferien statt.
  • Beim Backhaushock 2017 wurden rund 500 Zwiebelkuchen und 550 Laib Brot verkauft.
