- In the village of Glems there is a bakehouse. It was built in 1876 / 1877
- The bakehouse has two ovens
- They are heated by wood slices
- Decades ago the bakehouse was used very often.
- Nowadays the baker Glemserbäck uses it once a week
- Traditional bread is baked
- The oven provides space for 15 breads with 1250 g and at the same time 30 breads with 750 g
- The Glemserbäck was awarded 2012 as one of the best 600 bakeries in Germany
- Every two years there is at the first weekend of the summer holidays a so called Dorfhock, organized by the traditional costume club of Glems
