For centuries, the people of Transilvania have been making bread in the same traditional way. Looking into the huge brick ovens that can hold 12-15 loafs of bread of up to 3kg, one is amazed by the scent and taste as well as by the process itself.
In the village of Birtin, near Brad (Hunedoara) the brick oven is heated twice a week for baking ordered bread and apple pies (Placinta). The grandchildren take the orders even via Facebook.
