- In 1851, the old bakehouse must have existed already, because then the room above the bakehouse was chosen to be used for the kindergarten. This way they saved heating material during the cold season.
- Later, in 1981, the old bakehouse was dismantled and replaced by a new one.
The former bakehouse

- The current bakehouse hast wo ovens and a separate parch.
- The ovens are heated by bundles of brushwood or small branches.
- The bakehouse is regularly used by five families, the Bad Liebenzell Historical Society, and the outdoor kindergarten.
- Every year, at the end of July; the Bakehouse Get-Together takes place.
- Since 2016 there are open baking days – experienced bakers support newcomers. Baking courses are offered since 2017. Both programs support the motto: “Let us keep old traditions alive!“.
- For children a big Christmas biscuit baking event takes place.
- Usually, people bake bread, onion tarts as well as cream tarts or potato tarts, Italian and Swabian pizzas, braided yeast bread and Christmas biscuits.
