• The bakehouse in Aichwald-Aichelberg has existed since 1844.
• The last major renovation took place in 1999.
• This bakehouse has one oven which is heated by “Krähle” (bundles of brushwood and small branches).

• On the occasion of the bakehouse fest and of the vineyard fest hosted by the local music association and their brass band they bake floured bakehouse bread.

• During the bakehouse fest they also bake traditional salty cake and variations thereof with bacon and spring onions or with salmon.
