The Bakery Museum is situated in the village Mali Idjos, in Vojvodina. Serbia. The bakery from the early 1900’s is a part of the family’s inheritance. It provides an insight into the mystery of bread making, with old time tools and instruments used in the process of bread making from the turn of the previous century. In the museum are present several traditional baking oven, from 1930. People can use it for making bread or other baked goods. The baking of the ‘kürtőskalács’ (a deli specialty from Transylvania) is also presented here, and there is an opportunity for the guests to make the cake themselves. The museum was renovated in 2004, when everything was returned to its original state, collected all still existing tools and resources of this beautiful craft.
