Invitation to join the Danube-Networkers baking initiative with the motto: Bread Sharing is Caring!

The Danube-Networkers in Ulm invite you to participate in a new baking initiative with the motto “Bread Sharing is Caring”. Bake and share yeast-dough Danube Sparrows as a symbol of friendship and interest in others. It is an invitation to a joint action to advocate for peaceful and solidarity-based European community. Share the Sparrows with people and groups you had no or little contact with up to now. It can be a neighbor, a young family living on the other side of the street, but also school children, people in clubs, people in old people’s homes or people in homes for handicapped persons, prisoners, homeless persons, etc. By sharing the Sparrows, set a sign of friendship with people of all ages, other ethnic origins and social backgrounds.

We are already looking forward to seeing the little Danube Sparrows all over the Danube Region.

Die Danube-Networkers aus Ulm laden Sie dazu ein, an einer neuen Backaktion teilzunehmen unter dem Motto „Sharing is caring“ - „Teilen heißt, sich um andere kümmern“. Backen Sie „Donau-Spatzen“, als Zeichen der Freundschaft, des Interesses an den anderen, als Einladung, sich gemeinsam für ein friedliches und solidarisches Europa einzusetzen. Geben Sie sie an Mitmenschen und Gruppen weiter, die Sie nicht oder kaum kennen, das kann der Nachbar im gleichen Haus sein, die junge Familie gegenüber, aber auch Schülergruppen, Menschen in Vereinen, ältere Menschen in einem Seniorenheim oder Heim für Menschen mit speziellen Bedürfnissen, Strafgefangene, Menschen in einem Obdachlosenheim, etc. Setzen Sie mit dem Donauspatzen ein Zeichen für Menschen aller Altersgruppen, Ethnien und sozialen Verhältnissen.

Von Ulm aus schicken wir die „Donau-Spatzen“ auf Reisen mit der Bitte: Schicken Sie uns Bilder von Ihrer Backaktion und lassen Sie uns alle wissen, mit wem Sie „Brot teilen“. Wir hoffen, dass viele Menschen entlang der Donau mitmachen!
