Easter in One European Home – “We are four generations in the Velikov family. The oldest are Velichko and Nedka, and the youngest one is a baby boy called Galin. The mother and the father of Galin are Veneta and Vladislav. The mother and the father of Vladislav are Emiliya and Valeri. In the family there are also aunts, uncles and cousins.
All of us feel European. We travel a lot and have many friends all over Europe. So, our home is a European home.
For Easter, Veneta prepared a beautiful sweet European house for our European home. It was full with quail eggs because an old Bulgarian tradition is making a race for knocking different kinds of eggs.
The sweet house was European because it was created with materials from many different EU countries: Swedish biscuits, strawberries from Belgium, sweet pasta from Germany, sugar, quail eggs and cream from Bulgaria, candy from Romania, special sugar from Italy.
Our family is part of the European family. We hope to have many Easter holidays in our European home!
