500 g pie crusts
500 g ground nuts
350 g sugar
1.5 dl oil
4 dl mineral water
300 g honey (separate two spoonfuls for coating)
Put the honey into a pan and warm to be fluid. As it cools, if necessary, turn it a little warm. All pie crusts sprayed with slightly mineral water, oil and with honey. Mix the ground nuts and sugar, and place it on each pie crusts. In the middle of the Christmas cake “česnica”, put a coin.
Anoint a baking pan and put two sheets, spray them with oil and water. On the third put the filling with mix of walnut, sugar and a little honey. So do until you spend all the bark. You can put also raisins, chopped dried figs, almonds, hazelnuts.
Bake in oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. While the cake is baked in the pan, heat two tablespoons of honey with 2 dl water and carefully with a spoon, spread on the cake. Turn off the oven and return the cake back in the oven to cool and absorb this coating/filling.
